Corned Beef with Spicy Brown Sugar Mustard Glaze

Corned beef is so easy to make and tastes so good, I often wonder why I don’t make it more often than I do. It is one of our favorites, yet I just don’t think about making it until late winter. Shrimp Egg Rolls

There are certain foods that I enjoy so much, once I think about making them, I just have to do it. Shrimp egg rolls fall into that category for me. I have tried to satisfy that craving at every Chinese restaurant I’ve eaten at, but I have not found any really good ones in a long time. The sauce also makes a big difference, I love a good sweet and sour sauce. That’s also hard to find. These egg rolls are so good and I can make them any time I want! So why worry about finding good ones? These are easy and I can satisfy an egg roll craving any time I want.

Apple Cabbage Slaw with Dried Cherries and Walnuts

Coleslaw is one of my favorite types of salads. I make it quite often and usually keep a head of cabbage on hand for whenever the mood strikes. Sometimes plain is fine, but there are times when I get into playing around with it. Today’s recipe is one of those times.

Cabbage Rolls

When the weather cools and the leaves are beginning to turn, I always make a big batch of cabbage rolls. The other day, I was gifted with a huge head of homegrown cabbage and I knew immediately what I would make with it. I love to freeze the extras and know that they will taste wonderful on a cold night when I pull them out of the freezer.
